Kimberly Gokoffski is an Assistant Professor of clinical ophthalmology. Her clinical specialty is neuro-ophthalmology. She expertises in fields such as optic neuropathies, thyroid eye disease, strabismus, orbital inflammation, ptosis, and cranial palsies.
Her research interests are focused on the clinical need for optic nerve regeneration.
The goals of her research are:
• To elucidate the molecular signals that guide axon growth and
• To test whether an applied electrical field can be used to direct the growth of implanted stem cells.
