Raymond Cho is Director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is an oculoplastic surgeon and specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, eye socket and tear drainage system. Vision is a vital sensory function and the appearance of the eyes profoundly affects how people view themselves. When impaired by trauma, cancer, or the ravages of time, his job is to restore these critical aspects of a patient’s life.

Dr. Cho received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine followed by residency in ophthalmology from San Antonio Military Medical and fellowship in ophthalmology/plastics from University of Michigan Hospitals. His approach to care is to build partnerships with his patients, educate them about their diseases and offer various treatment options. He guides them through the treatment process to ensure they receive the highest level of care.

Dr. Cho is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and member of Board of Directors, North American Society of Academic Orbital Surgeons. He is the recipient of the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award. Dr. Cho treats conditions like eyelid diseases, lacrimal apparatus diseases, orbital diseases, skull base tumors, blepharophimosis, orbital fractures, orbital myositis, eye tumors, Graves ophthalmopathy etc.
