Retracción De Los Párpados
Cuando los músculos alrededor del ojo se inflaman y empujan el ojo hacia adelante, los párpados superior e inferior son halados o contraídos. Pueden halar o contraer el párpado superior o el inferior.
Ojos Protuberantes
El exceso de hormona tiroidea hace que los músculos en el ojo y alrededor de él se hinchen y empujen los ojos hacia afuera. Debido a esta protuberancia del ojo, parece que las personas estuvieran mirando fijo todo el tiempo. Es un síntoma común de la enfermedad de Graves.
