As a neuro-ophthalmologist, Leah Levi, MD, evaluates, and treats patients with disorders of the nervous system that affect vision. This also includes the evaluation of patients with visual symptoms such as vision loss, double vision, and visual field defects that may signify neurological or systemic diseases.

Dr. Levi is nationally known in her field and is the past president of both the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society and California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Before joining Scripps Clinic, she was on faculty at the University of California, San Diego for 23 years, where she directed the neuro-ophthalmology service.
