Daniel B. Kuriloff is the Director of Center for Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery at New York Head & Neck Institute. He is a board certified, fellowship trained head and neck surgeon. He received his medical training from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and graduated with honors in surgery. After completing two years of general surgery training at Albany and Beth Israel Medical Centers, he pursued his otolaryngology training at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He later completed a joint council certified fellowship for advanced training in head and neck oncologic surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and microvascular surgery at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Kuriloff’s area of interest and expertise involves head and neck endocrine surgery for disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. He has a vast experience, having performed over 2,500 thyroid and parathyroid related surgeries in his career to date. He has perfected the art and science of his surgical practice and has adopted the latest advances in the field, including minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic surgery, near bloodless surgery, through the smallest possible incisions, and plastic surgery skin closure techniques. Dr. Kuriloff tailors each patient’s treatment plan to their risk profile using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
