Jacqueline T. Kung is the Director of Thyroid Disease Clinic and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of California San Diego School of Medicine followed by residency and fellowship from University of California San Diego. She is board certified in endocrinology diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine.
Dr. Kung’s clinical focus areas are thyroid disease, neck ultrasound, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and thyroid fine needle aspiration biopsy. She has been a proponent of mutational and gene expression classifier testing of fine needle aspiration biopsies, bringing the practice to Tufts in 2012. She is also on the career advancement committee for the American Thyroid Association, helping physicians-in-training plan their next steps. Dr. Kung is affiliated with Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus, Lowell General Hospital and Tufts Medical Center.
