Michele Beaconsfield is a consultant ophthalmic & oculoplastic surgeon for over 25 years with particular expertise in surgical rehabilitation (ocular cicatricial disease, thyroid ophthalmopathy, tumour defect reconstruction). She is also the Chairman of European Committee, Royal College Ophthalmologists.

Her research interests include lid tumours and surgical rehabilitation of thyroid ophthalmopathy.
