Travis J. McKenzie is a Consultant Endocrine and Metabolic Surgeon at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine followed by residency from Mayo Clinic and fellowships from Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Currently Dr. McKenzie is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons; Chair of General Surgery Residency, Program Evaluation Committee; Member of Clinical Competency Committee, Division of BEMGI Surgery, Department of Surgery; and Candidate Member of American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and American Association of Endocrine Surgeons.

Travis J. McKenzie has an experience in treating conditions like adrenal cancer Cushing’s syndrome, goiter, Graves’ disease, hyperparathyroidism, hyperthyroidism, insulinoma, MEN 1, MEN 2B, multinodular goiter, neuroendocrine carcinoma, obesity, parathyroid cancer, parathyroid disease thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules etc. He has performed procedures like adrenalectomy, bariatric surgery, endoscopic thyroidectomy, gastric bypass surgery, laparoscopic surgery, lateral neck dissection, minimally invasive surgery, pancreatectomy, pancreatic enucleation, parathyroidectomy, sleeve gastrectomy and thyroidectomy.
